The recent funding available from the federal government is through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund. The fund is to help communities across Canada build and improve community infrastructure projects so they can rebound from the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
The longer floating dock portion will be contingent upon successful award of the new federal revitalization fund grant. We will know about that by mid-September.
Currently you can see the new paved area which will be for parking located at the end of Walnut going toward Cedar.
Park completion is still on track for December when there will be a grand opening.
